I spent many caravanning holidays at Yellowcraig. They sorta all merge into one because they all involved the beach, the massive rope swings in the forests nearby, visiting my cousins in E'burgh and probably eating chips on top of the hill by the whale bones in North Berwick. Once we got the boat to Bass Rock and got shit on. There are castles too (Tantallon? further down the coast to Bamburgh?)

I used to go there for the day as a child, swim in the sea, but not come across anyone actually caravanning. (I suspect it rains less than in north Wales which was my main caravan experience.) We used to go to North Berwick even more often, up the Law. I've never been to Bass Rock, but I imagine there's an awful lot of shit around there. What do you expect with seagulls? They eat fish and they shit. Tantallon Castle, all the castles around Edinburgh kind of blur into one for me, too many childhood trips (result of parents divorcing when I was little, every weekend trips.)
